Located in the Mojave Desert, heartless humans use California City as a desert dumping ground leaving them completely abandoned and alone pushing them out of their vehicles knowing they have very little chance of survival. We have so many pets who somehow survive and find their way to us and help local families and other shelters save as many lives as we can. However, we have extremely limited kenneling facilities or foster homes and have many to help. We specialize in small dogs, small puppy breeds and small breed moms & their puppy litters incurring very high vet care costs keeping our babies safe from illness while building their imnune systems.  Your love in finding them and sharing their loving lifetimes will help us save even more pets hoping to find loving hearts and homes such as yours.
